Spring Floral Butterfly

What colors best represent spring? For this handmade card, the colors are yellow, green and pink. Add a detailed stamp design and you have a fun ensemble to represent the season and celebrate spring.
I stamped Floral Butterfly Rubber Cling stamp with black ink after I water colored the paper using a simple waterbrush. Creating freeform shapes on the paper, I used up some leftover watercolor paper from a postcard notebook purchased long ago.

Remember, you don't have to have a lot of different papers in your craft storage. Always have white card stock on hand and with some watercolor paper, you can create your own colorful papers to stamp on.
